The body of Jesus is placed in the arms of His mother. 

 

Having spent everything He is, Jesus is taken from the Cross and placed in the arms of His Mother.  Mary always represents the Church.  Jesus is placed in the arms of the Church, the believers, we all look upon His broken Body.

Think:  Do we hold Jesus broken body in our arms?  How can the sight of Jesus death transform how we treat others?
