Simon the Cyrene is forced to take up the Cross. 

 

The soldiers see that the carrying of the Cross might kill Jesus before He makes it to the top of the hill.  They force a bystander Simon to help carry the burden.

Think:  We each have our own crosses, how much of a burden are they to us?  Can we ask the Lord to help us in carrying our crosses?
