Jesus meets His mother. 

 

The sorrow of seeing her Son in so much pain is like a sword piercing Mary's heart.  Jesus looks upon the one who raised Him and stood always at His side.  The sorrow is crushing.

Think:  Do we seek Jesus in the time of my sorrow?  How can we ask for our sorrows to be alleviated?
